Medline’s SorbaView® SHIELD Dressing with Adhesive-Free Zone provides catheter securement, complemented by SHIELD.
This catheter tube holder offers optimal protection against catheter dislodgement, thanks to the built-in securement, which resists multidirectional tugging forces. Bacteria and moisture are kept away from the site while the catheter is in place.
The dressing contributes by presenting a protective layer that prevents the development of bloodstream and/or localised infections in patients with central venous and arterial catheters.
