HEEL RAISER® Pro Heel Protector

HEEL RAISER® Pro Heel Protector provides a clinically proven solution for the complete offloading of the heel, which helps redistribute pressure along the calf, thereby preventing and managing the threat of pressure ulcers.

Medline’s heel protector reduces friction and shear because its durable nylon exterior glides over sheets. Its soft, absorbent polyurethane foam lining provides a comfortable fit, as well as breathable fabric that helps control heat and moisture for patients who cannot get up and/or walk.

To prevent the development of pressure sores caused by a lack of mobility, Medline’s heel protection boot, for both the foot and heel, keeps the foot in a naturally flexed position. When used in the ICU, this boot aids healthcare workers in delivering a high quality of care by assisting immobile patients with the prevention of heel pressure ulcers.

The heel protector includes a top that folds down to accommodate smaller feet and allows greater air circulation to the toes. The one-size-fits-most boot has two adjustable straps that offer a better fit for patients, as well as a toggle-and-loop fastening on the sole of each boot.

This product can be easily wiped clean or washed in the machine.
