PTFE-Coated Blade Electrode
Medline’s PTFE-Coated Insulated Blade Electrode fits most electrosurgical pencils, thanks to their standard 2.4-mm design, is sterile and made with the same non-stick compound found in Teflon®. Each is ideal for plastic surgery and dermatological or gynaecological procedures, as it facilitates better wound healing.
To help ease the removal of build-up that occurs on the electrode during a procedure, the PTFE coating allows the single-use electrode to be cleaned with a wet piece of gauze or sponge. In addition, for more safety while in use, our non-stick electrode has round edges, which prevent the radio frequency (RF) current from concentrating too much energy in one area.
Our PTFE-Coated Insulated Blade Electrode is available in two sizes: 7 cm and 15 cm.
Medline’s PTFE-Coated Insulated Blade Electrode is part of our electrosurgery portfolio, which also includes different types of electrosurgical pencils, amongst other accessories.
