2011

  • Medline acquires the ISP business from CareFusion and establishes operations in Europe, Japan and Australia.

2012

  • Medline Europe aligns management reporting with Medline US.

2013

Medline:

  • Begins selling directly in Portugal.
  • Holds first ever sales -meeting in Luxembourg.

2014

  • Medline opens its international headquarters in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
  • Medline Ireland Ltd is formed to supply the Irish market directly.
  • MedTrans, Medline’s dedicated truck fleet, starts service in Germany. Currently, MedTrans is on the road in Germany.

2015

  • A new 38,000-m2 warehouse is opened in Kleve, Germany.
  • A new SPT manufacturing site opens in Bánovce nad Bebravou, Slovakia, with 10 employees.

2016

  • Medline Assembly SAS in Châteaubriant, France, opens a new warehouse.
  • Medline establishes its corporate social responsibility (CSR) department. - Customer service introduces the first dedicated service representative (DSR) into the team in Europe.
  • Medline-Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) partnership begins taking shape with Supplier Code of Conduct review.
  • Medline installs 3,770 solar panels at its warehousing facility in Kleve, Germany.

2017

  • A full portfolio of Medline-branded fluid management products is launched.
  • Medline Europe launched a Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) certification project to promote labour and human rights within its supply chain.
  • Medline donated 28 tonnes of medical supplies to communities in need through a partnership with International Health Partners (IHP).

2018

Medline:

  • Expands its Medline-branded surgical glove lines.
  • Opens a new 10,200-m2 warehouse in Bicester, UK, to support our growing business in the region.

2019

  • Medline opens a new office in Diegem, Belgium.
  • Medline’s gloves division initiated the first-ever WRAP certification project in the medical device sector – having one of its glove suppliers certified.
  • Medline becomes the first medical devices company to have its own manufacturing facility in Châteaubriant, France certified by WRAP worldwide.

2020

  • Medline responds to COVID-19. Production and warehouse teams maintain high levels of service to Medline customers.

2021

  • Medline celebrates 10 years of business in Europe.
  • The legal and compliance department add substantial capacity to maintain GDPR compliance.
  • Production facilities at Châteaubriant are upgraded. A new, state-of-theart office is opened.

2022

Medline Europe:

  • Acquires renowned respiratory brand, Hudson RCI®, expanding product offering to include oxygen therapy, medication delivery and ventilation.
  • Opens 21,000-m2 state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Partizánske, Slovakia.
  • Acquires Asid Bonz, a leading German supplier of anaesthesia, surgical, urological and ward-related medical devices, from Medi-Globe Group.
  • Medline installs 109 solar panels at its manufacturing facility in Châteaubriant, France.

2023

Medline Europe:

  • Manufactures the first Namic fluid management kits at new Partizánské facility.
  • Product portfolio achieves full compliance status with the European Union’s MDR 2017/745.
  • Enters veterinary and homecare markets.
  • Expands distribution network with the opening of its new facility in Piacenza, Italy
  • Medline's corporate social responsibility (CSR) department rebrands as environmental, social and governance (ESG) department.Medline publishes first global corporate report.

2024

Medline:

  • Launches new business unit, Medline Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA).
  • Appoints new President International.
  • Installs 3,154 solar panels at its manufacturing facility in Partizánske, Slovakia.
  • Acquires the global surgical solutions business of Ecolab Inc., including the Microtek product line.

2025

Medline:

  • Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) department rebrands to the sustainability department.
  • Unveils first electric truck in France, serving Ille de France area
  • International Iberia opens new office in Kudos Innovation Campus Las Mercedes, Madrid, Spain.
  • International France opens new office in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, in the Paris region.
  • Moves European headquarters to Utrecht, the Netherlands.
  • Europe manufactures first oral care kits at Partizánske facility.
  • International Iberia opens new 15,000-m2 warehouse in vicinity of Madrid, Spain.
  • Installs 1,218 solar panels at its warehousing facility in Bicester, United Kingdom.
