Essential Small-Volume Nebuliser with Mask and Standard Tubing

Small volume nebulizers are used to nebulize liquid medications for inhalation. The drug is filled into the nebulizer which is connected to compressed air or oxygen source via an oxygen tubing. By supplying the compressed air/oxygen at the required flow rate, a venturi effect is created in the nebulizer which draws the medication along a green distribution plate and shoots it against a baffle plate through which aerosols of the appropriate size are generated. The generated aerosols can be inhaled. Depending on the configuration, a mouthpiece or aerosol masks are available for inhalation. Depending on the configuration, other accessories are available, such as a piece of tubing that serves as a reservoir of the nebulized medication, a Tee-connector to which the nebulizer is attached, which in turn serves as a distributor and to which the mouthpiece and reservoir tube are attached. Do not use on multiple patients (single patient use only).
