Medline’s First Ever Virtual Sales Meeting

Every February, Medline hosts its annual sales meeting to bring together the sales force, product divisions and local marketing. Over the course of the week, the sales team has the opportunity to learn about new products and developments in the industry, and make plans for the year as a team. Sales Meeting is also an excellent chance to catch up with colleagues and celebrate success.

 

 

Due to coronavirus, 2020 gave Medline (and many others) the chance to delve into virtual meeting and event tools. As the pandemic continued, we were happy to put this experience to good use and safely host our ninth successful Sales Meeting, and our first ever virtually! This recent event included all the typical features of our ‘usual’ meetings: an opening and closing session, product features (this time via commercials instead of an in-person product fair), product-specific local sessions, team breakouts and an awards ceremony.

 

Naturally, we are hoping to be able to host our meeting in person next year, but Medline is prepared to go digital, for our team and for our customers, as long as needed, and as innovatively and engagingly as possible.
