In a move to strengthen its presence and enhance service capabilities in the Middle East, Medline today announced the official opening of its new office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The opening ceremony, underscores Medline’s commitment to the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, with the new office poised to transform its service model in the Kingdom, and more broadly in the Middle East, as one of the world’s largest manufacturers and distributors of medical supplies.

The dedicated on-site team in Riyadh will deliver enhanced capabilities to healthcare providers throughout the territory. The new facility houses a team of colleagues spanning key functions such as Management, Business Development, Product Management, Regulatory Affairs, and Human Resources. This team will offer support in both Arabic and English, ensuring faster response times and improved communication.

Hervé Million, President of Medline Europe, Middle East and Africa, reflected on this important milestone: “Establishing our Saudi Arabia office marks a pivotal step in Medline’s global expansion strategy, firmly embedding us within the Middle East's healthcare landscape and serving as a strategic cornerstone for the region. This central hub will enable us to streamline regional coordination and connect customers to our organisation, thereby enhancing the speed, consistency, and tailored support across the Kingdom."

A Strategic Foothold in the Middle East

Saudi Arabia is Medline’s largest market in the Middle East, making this on-the-ground presence important for supporting customers.

Antonio Garcia Paine, Vice President Sales Europe, General Manager Middle East Africa at Medline, emphasised the positive impact on customers: “We are thrilled to inaugurate our new Riyadh office, a direct presence to help transform our customer engagement. This presence enables us to provide valuable proximity, empowering us to deliver immediate, proactive solutions, cultivate partnerships, and provide an exceptional level of localised support designed to meet their most critical needs.”

Initially, the Saudi Arabia office will focus mainly on primary support for Medline’s vital product divisions, including Surgical Procedure Trays (SPT), Operating Room (OR) solutions, Wound Care, Urology, and Respiratory products. Customers can anticipate tangible improvements in services, such as reduced turnaround times for customer requests, increased in-person engagement through site visits and training, and enhanced planning and coordination to support continuity of supply.

Medline delivers medical and surgical solutions alongside tailored logistics services, helping healthcare providers work more efficiently and safely. Beyond product supply, Medline acts as a partner, anticipating needs, offering expert guidance, and working hand-in-hand with clients to develop solutions and overcome challenges together. By combining global scale with local insight and standing on the pillars of tradition, proximity to clients, reliability and sustainability, the new office will future support clinicians to focus on what matters most: caring for patients.
