Medline Germany’s Solar Energy Project in the Spotlight

SUN & WIND ENERGY, a publication based in Germany covering renewable energy sources, has featured Medline’s warehouse in Kleve and its use of green electricity created by solar energy in a recent press release.
The warehouse’s roof is home to 12,000 square metres of solar panels, which produced about 900,000 kWh of energy in 2017. This is enough energy to power the entire logistics and IT departments, facility lighting and even the forklifts.
Kleve’s solar panel project contributes to Medline’s sustainability goals, and the facility has been awarded the gold certificate by the German Sustainable Building Council.
