Medline’s SorbaView® 2000 Securement Dressing with 1 Tape Strip creates an occlusive barrier against bacteria, viruses and other contaminants, but not to moisture vapour or other normal gases. This is due to an innovative multi-layer construction.
SorbaView 2000 is a window dressing available in two dimensions and is recommended to be used for epidural procedures. The protective, transparent film dressing keeps the infusion site dry by way of an integrated pad that wicks moisture away.
This dressing stays securely in place for long wear times, thereby meeting hospital protocols while conforming and responding to body contours. This is possible because of non-irritating, non-sensitising and non-cytotoxic medical-grade adhesive, which makes application and removal easy.
