Junior Product Manager SPT (m/f)

Our Surgical Procedure Trays Division (SPT) is looking for a candidate for the position of Junior Product Manager SPT – Italy.

The sterile procedure tray (SPT) division excellently represents Medline's ability to create new products and better deliver what our customers need more quickly and with enhanced value. Medline’s SPTs help reduce costs, increase productivity and improve the quality of patient care.

As the Junior Product Manager for the Italian market, you will be an SPT expert and have a thorough understanding of the division’s marketing channels. You will collaborate with all the departments within the company, including sales, divisions, marketing, operations, logistics and finance. Your Duties

  • Provide clinical support during product trial
  • Provide product portfolio expertise and uncover market needs via face-to-face customer interactions, including product presentations, trainings and product trials/evaluations.
  • Identify customer needs and portfolio gaps.
  • Act as a primary business contact for account managers regarding general product information, specifications, competitor information and the competitor database, margin enhancement recommendations and strategic direction.
  • Manage tender preparation with account managers and the sales leader; establish tender pricing. Provide technical documentation for tenders and maintain them update.
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies based on detailed analyses of customers and the market landscape to ensure the short- and long-term health of the business.
  • Manage inventory, surpluses and back orders.
  • Provide product portfolio expertise and uncover market needs via face-to-face customer interactions, including product presentations, trainings and product trials/evaluations.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Marketing or Sales with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare sector, with operating theatre knowledge
  • Outstanding work ethic and ambition
  • Financial acumen and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational, planning and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Ability to persuade and convince
  • Positive mindset
  • Good adaptability and teamwork skills
  • Mastery of IT tools, including MS Office.
  • Ability and willingness to travel (around 50% within Italy)
  • Fluent in English
  • Based in Tuscany or Emilia Romagna
