Junior European Product Manager – Exam Gloves Division

In order to strengthen our gloves division, Medline is seeking a dynamic and hard-working candidate for the position of Junior European Product Manager, Exam Gloves Division.

As a Junior European Product Manager, you will support the European Product Manager in driving the sales growth and profitability of your product categories. You will collaborate with business units across the organisation, including sales, marketing, operations, inventory management and finance. Your responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, launching new products, increasing the profitability of existing products, providing expertise on your product line and their use in procedures, and creating tools to promote your business in all European markets, all under the supervision of the Product Manager. This role is based in our European headquarters in Arnhem, the Netherlands.

Main responsibilities:

  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research and analyses, and benchmarking competitors.
  • Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities under the supervision of the Product Manager.
  • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
  • Develop training programmes, sales tools and marketing materials for the sales team.
  • Support the development of marketing campaigns for new launches or product repositioning.
  • Conduct product training sessions for internal new hires.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, international business or healthcare (a Master’s degree is a plus)
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, large corporate organisation
  • 1 year of experience in a marketing, product management or business function is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, including presenting to cross-functional audiences and customers
  • Assertive and positive attitude with a desire to learn
  • Personal accountability and a passion to succeed
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (other European languages are a great asset)
  • Ability to work successfully in cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment
  • Tech savvy: good skills in Microsoft applications such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time in Europe
