European Product Manager (M/F)

We are looking for a European Product Manager for the equipment and furnishings/diagnostics ranges who will be based in Voisins Le Bretonneux (France) or Arnhem (the Netherlands).

As a European Product Manager, you are responsible for the sales growth and profitability of your product lines. You will collaborate with various departments within the company, including sales, marketing, operations, logistics and finance. Activities and responsibilities:

Manage all tasks necessary to increase profit and meet financial and corporate growth objectives.

Develop and carry out market analyses and studies, and execute and monitor launch plans for new products.

Train the sales teams during European seminars but also in local trainings.

Work in collaboration with the equipment and furnishings and diagnostics divisions in the United States to make the most of this for the size, strength and experience of Medline in Europe.

Negotiate with current suppliers to obtain the best raw material costs, follow the procurement process to discover new suppliers and keep the cost database up to date.

Collect information on competitors (product portfolio, price positioning, market positioning etc.).

Work with sales managers to understand customer needs and the competitive environment.

Travel in the field to implement products or solve problems.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy for all critical internal and external applications. 

Profile:

Passionate with the desire to manage your products like your own business, this passion will accelerate your success and development opportunities

Degree in sales or marketing 

At least 2 years of professional experience in marketing, sales, management/product development or clinical experience (preferably in the healthcare industry)

Experience in negotiating with external providers and internal resources

Ability to carefully analyse financial data

Strong verbal and written presentation and communication skills, ability to articulate ideas and support them with strong arguments Excellent presentation skills

Precise and detailed

Business acumen, an entrepreneurial spirit and good decision-making skills

Ability to collaborate effectively within a team

Fluency in English

  • Advanced mastery of at least one additional European language
  • Ability and willingness to travel in Europe
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
